Miami Restaurant

Miami Restaurant, located inside the compounds of Lanta Miami Resort, is a short 3 minute walk from Lanta Intanin Resort, where I stayed in. The restaurant is situated by the resort’s private beach, thus enabling guests to mix their meals with gentle sounds of crashing waves.

Seating options include tables located inside the restaurant, outside the restaurant where guests can play with the sand between their toes, or inside a slightly elevated and more private wooden gazebo located further away; the latter being a better option if you want to kick off your shoes (literally), lean back on something and have a more laid back conversation whilst waiting for your meal to arrive.

Prices are pretty cheap – 140THB (approximately RM16 / USD 4) for a plate of squid or prawns.  The seafood was fresh, and the dishes had the expected Thai touch to it.

After your meal, sit back and relax, or walk along the beach. Chairs are available if you want to sit and star gaze into the sky whilst listening to the gentle crashing waves.

The restaurant is worth a try if you are staying in either Lanta Miami Resort or Lanta Intanin Resort as it is easily accessible from both locations. The food is cheap and fresh but the bang for your buck will be the ambiance which will furnish you with a lovely view whilst you enjoy your meal.
